1. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  2. By entering this project, an entrant is indicating that they agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  3. The entrant warrants that their artwork is their own original work and does not infringe the copyright, moral rights or other rights of any third party.
  4. If the entrant is selected as a finalist, the adult/guardian of the entrant grants Yarn a royalty-free licence to publish and communicate the artwork to the public for the following purposes of marketing, publicity and publication in relation to the competition and its exhibition via electronic/digital media.
  5. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information and data to Yarn and third-party channels.
  6. Yarn will attribute the entrant when exhibiting, reproducing or publishing the artwork or communicating the work to the public. The entrant and their trusted guardian consents to the display of the artwork in relation to the overall competition prize via the official Yarn website.
  7. The entrant and their trusted guardian agrees to the use of their first name and surname, age, entry image and story of the artwork for display on the official Yarn website and in any publicity material.
  8. Entrants must be an Australian resident between the ages of 6–16 years old.
  9. Submissions must be by an adult or guardian on behalf of the child or children participating.
    All correspondence and contact regarding competition finalists and winners will be conducted between Yarn and the child’s trusted adult/guardian.
  10. The winner of the competition and their respective guardian consents to the winning artwork to be reproduced as a limited edition Yarn collection.
  11. If the entrant is selected as the competition winner, the entrant and their trusted guardian grants Yarn an exclusive, royalty-free, one-off licence to reproduce (including photograph) the work and produce the artwork in material form, publish and communicate the work to the public for the following purposes, and anything incidental to such purposes: sales and marketing, publicity and publication in relation to the competition via electronic/digital media.
  12. The winning artwork will not be re-used or reproduced for any other Yarn products outside of the context of the competition. The artwork will only be used for competition purposes inclusive of sales and marketing, publicity and publication and via the exclusive winning design collection product and sales.
  13. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
