I chose to use earthy colours as it reminded me of the landscape in Australia; especially where I live. In Kununurra it's nearly wet season and the blues and greens feel like the storms rolling in and the area looks really nice and green during this season. The spots represent islands in the sea and reminded me of NAIDOC artwork. I used wax and pencil to create the edges and the patterns. My favourite colour is blue so that's another reason why it has so many shades of blue! Thank you for the opportunity to enter this competition. One day I hope to be a pretty famous artist and engineer.
