I am Indigo Pearl and I'm just eight years old. When I was thinking of an idea to create art to show the past stories about our Aboriginal lands I was looking at my hands and thought to trace the shape of my hands and hold the patterns and colours and stories in them that came to my mind. I was focused on bringing all that came into my mind about how I feel about my place in the country and all the people of the land where we all belong together. We all have different stories to share and tell and we must keep telling the stories of the people of these lands forever.
